Transition of QMS from ISO 9000:1994 to ISO 9001:2000

All international standards are constantly reviewed and revised for continuous improvement of the standard itself, more suitability for companies and changing needs in the market. TOTAL helps already certified organizations comply with these changes, and make a smooth transition from ISO 9000:1994 to ISO 9000:2000, which has to be done within the specified time frame in order to avoid losing certification. The new edition, ISO 9000:2000, uses a new process-focused approach as illustrated in their Quality Management System model. Further emphasis on customer requirements and documented evidence of continual improvement has also been added to the 9000:2000 edition.
