HACCP Hygiene and Food Safety System HACCP is a difficult name for a simple and effective way to ensure food safety. HACCP stands for the "Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points" system. It allows organizations to predict risks to food safety and prevent them before they happen. Today many food companies use the HACCP system to make sure their products are safe and also used for food processing in retail food stores, restaurants and food processing plants. This system can be used in conjunction with present food protection programs, ISO 9000 or Total Quality Management (TQM) programs. |
