Osama
El-Meligy is the
Chairman of TOTAL. He is the Convener of ISO/Arabic Task Force in three
ISO major committees: ISO/TC-176 for Quality Management, ISO/TC-207 for
Environmental Management and ISO/WGSR for social responsibility. He is the
founder and former Secretary General of the Egyptian Society for Quality, a
current member of the Egyptian National Quality Task Force, and is nominated by
Egypt
to lead the ISO Task Force on Time, Speed, and Agility, from a Quality
Management Perspective. He wrote the first Arabic book on Environmental
Management and translated into Arabic “Statistical Methods for Quality
Improvement”, by Hitoshi Kume.
